<a class=Eversheds scores NHS Pasa panel coup” />Eversheds has joined Mills & Reeve on the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency ;(Pasa) ;panel, fighting off competition from nine other law firms to win one of the two spots.

The duo will be advising the executive agency of the Department of Health (DoH) for up to four years on all legal matters – from commercial contracts and disputes to procurement and corporate governance.

Mills ;& ;Reeve, ;like Eversheds, has a strong relationship with the DoH.
Eversheds healthcare chief Bill Gilliam said the Pasa win is significant for the firm given that it comes not long after Eversheds was appointed to the Government’s Catalist Legal panel (The Lawyer, 13 June).

Ruth ;Connorton, Eversheds Pasa relationship partner, added that the firm’s project ;management services, such as the Global Accounts Management System (Gams), were a factor in the win.

“This is our first appointment to Pasa, as Mills & Reeve was the sole provider last time round but we’re already on the panel for NHS Supply as the sole provider, the only other national purchasing agency for the NHS,” she said.

Pasa is the latest in a string of panel wins for Eversheds, which has been recognised for ;its ;strong ;project management. Others include Akzo Nobel, Samsung and Transport for London.
