Eversheds has won instructions on a series of schools projects from Nottinghamshire County Council and the Isle of Wight Council.
Projects partner Adrian Turner is leading the teams on the deals, which include advising Nottinghamshire on the first wave of its £750m Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project.
Turner said: “[Nottinghamshire will cover] 46 secondary schools and a number of special needs schools – it’s one of the bigger schemes.”
He is being assisted by partner Scott Wagland and associates Angela Kindness and Chris Pickens. The team will also advise on the delivery of two sample schools over the next two years.
Eversheds has been appointed by the Isle of Wight Council on the One School Pathfinder project for a secondary school in the town of Cowes, which will prepare the ground for the council’s anticipated entry into the main BSF programme. This is expected to close by the end of 2008.
