Eversheds loots Linklaters for Shanghai

Eversheds is opening an office in Shanghai and has recruited Linklaters associate Peter Corne to be the outpost's managing director. Corne, who joins the new firm as a partner, worked at Simmons & Simmons in Shanghai before joining Linklaters' Shanghai office in 2000. He practises corporate, commercial and regulatory law, and brings clients including Coca-Cola and Mitsui.
