Eversheds lawyer quits for directorship

Eversheds is losing a member of its corporate group after only four months to Premier Asset Management.

Nicholas Narraway has become legal director for both Premier Fund Managers and Premier Portfolio Managers, subsidiaries of Premier Asset Management.

Corporate finance specialist Narraway joined Eversheds in May from Lawrence Graham where he was a partner.

Premier was one of Narraway's clients during his 19 years at Lawrence Graham, and this relationship is one of the reasons for the move.

"As usual, I suppose it's not just one driving force, it's a combination of forces," says Narraway. "I know the company and I've worked for them for some years so I feel comfortable with where I'm going to."

Narraway will continue to work for Eversheds on a consultancy basis.

He says: "It was not at all a matter of leaving Eversheds, so much as joining Premier. I imagine they're disappointed, and in one sense so am I. But they've been very kind and I'm delighted to have an ongoing association for the time being. In fact I'm fortunate enough to carry on doing some work for them. I haven't cut myself off completely."
