Eversheds chosen for coveted Transport for London role

Eversheds has won Transport for London (TfL) the Government agency responsible for the capital’s transport needs as a new client.

The firm pitched against a number of firms to win a mandate to advise TfL on commercial, litigation and property work.

The appointment follows a tender process instigated by general counsel Fiona Smith who joined TfL in Autumn 2003 following the departure of Gareth Davies.

Eversheds’ head of real estate Cornelius Medvei will handle the firm’s relationship with TfL.
