Eversheds and A&O board Boeing legal network

Allen & Overy (A&O) and Eversheds have won places on Boeing's preferred legal provider network after a formal panel review by the US aerospace giant.

It is understood that White & Case has also been appointed to the panel.

A&O has been building its reputation with the aircraft manufacturer by advising the banks that financed the acquisition of nine Boeing 757s for US Airways.

A&O's New York M&A chief Eric Shube also has a longstanding relationship with Boeing, which will have helped the magic circle firm claim a place on the network.

Eversheds already handles the aerospace company's UK-based commercial matters in addition to working for them in more than 20 other jurisdictions.

Boeing international counsel Amy Tu told The Lawyer: "Eversheds has been a great find in terms of offering a good, responsive local service."

A Boeing spokesman said: "We can confirm that Allen & Overy and Eversheds are members of our preferred provider network, along with other outstanding law firms from around the world."
