National Theatre

The National Theatre’s Theatreworks programme provides training opportunities that draw on the techniques used by actors and directors in the rehearsal room, to offer experiential workshops. These are designed to encourage confident and creative communication by stretching the voice, the body and the imagination. All Theatreworks courses come with the promise of being significantly different from training you will have done in the past.

Theatreworks courses are led by experienced actor / trainers, many of whom are recognised as leaders in the field of arts-based training. The workshops take place in one of the National Theatre’s rehearsal rooms, a safe place to take risks and to try out new techniques.
