This course is designed for those coming new to the appeals process within immigration law. It will give you an overview of the immigration appeals process and then concentrate on specific areas. There will be consideration of common grounds of appeal and judicial review with a focus on recent case law. It will set out the options for challenging immigration decisions including: * Areas susceptible to appeal * What to do when there is no right of appeal * Appeal procedure and practice in the Upper Tribunal * Judicial Review in the Upper Tribunal from 2013 * Judicial Review in the Administrative Court up to 2013 * Tactics and presentation of claims to maximise chances of success.
