Overview
Lord Justice Jackson recommended sweeping changes to civil procedure, in particular litigation funding and solicitors' costs, in his final report published in January 2010. The report’s recommendations and the County Court Reforms in the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders (LASPO) Act are now in the implementation stage, with the changes scheduled to take effect in April 2013. This practical course focuses on the key rule changes and provides comprehensive guidance on how to effectively comply with the reforms.
