EMW has given its London office a boost, adding three partners - all of whom join as department heads - and a consultant.
Mayer Brown partner Nick Marshall joins EMW as head of real estate, while Allan Reason, a partner at Lester Aldridge, joins as head of dispute resolution. Francis Wilks & Jones partner Jodi Tierney joins the firm as head of asset based lending. Trevor Jenkin, who ran his own practice, joins EMW as a litigation consultant.
Following the hires EMW has announced that it will move into larger offices later in 2012.
EMW pulled in £9.1m in revenue in the 2010-11, an 8.2 per cent rise on the previous financial year. The firm has 73 fee-earners across offices in London and Milton Keynes.

I understand that for some "Reason" Allan has since departed. The office move may still have gone ahead, despite the main thrust of the expansion being to accommodate Allan's largesse. In 2008 EMW were planning to open offices in Crawley, Reading and Bristol - I can find no reference to these offices on their web-site even though "Directions Matter". Maybe the new offices are so lofty that they can see most of the UK from the top floor?
