Six fee-earners based in the residential property, commercial property and corporate teams have lost their jobs.
The eleven remaining redundancies were all support staff spread across the commercial, property and corporate teams together with central support staff.
This is the second wave of redundancies at the Milton Keynes-based firm, which has a turnover of £10.3m, but chief executive Joy Vollans (pictured) said: “We do not foresee any further redundancies at this time.
“We are sad to have had to go through the process but feel that our business is better equipped to deal with the current economic climate as a result.”
EMW made four members of staff redundant earlier this year (30 June 2008 30 June 2008). The total number of redundancies in the UK 200 now stands at 730.
