French independent Veil Jourde has lost another two partners as M&A specialists Ariel Harroch and Marie-Charlotte Trebuchet leave for Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
Harroch and Trebuchet join Gibson Dunn along with six associates. They leave Veil Jourde less than two months after Guillaume Kuperfils joined Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw together with four associates.
Harroch will become a partner at Gibson Dunn, while Trebuchet - who was promoted to partner at Veil Jourde at the beginning of 2006 - will be a European partner.
They leave Veil Jourde with six partners. The Veil Jourde team specialise in M&A, private equity and tax law.
Gibson Dunn’s Paris managing partner and chair of the international management committee Bernard Grinspan said the hires would enhance the firm’s ability to handle large M&A transactions both in France and internationally.
