Dewey & LeBoeuf insurance partner Francis Mackie, who joined the firm after more than a decade at Norton Rose, is leaving for Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge.
Mackie, who had been co-head of Dewey’s global insurance and reinsurance dispute practice group, joined the legacy LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae in 2006.
Dewey’s London managing partner Peter Sharp said the exit of Mackie did not signal a change of strategy in relation to one of the firm’s core areas. Mackie’s practice focuses primarily on contentious matters involving arbitration, Commercial Court proceedings and mediation.
