Edwards Angell scores Dewey partner

Mackie, who had been co-head of Dewey’s ­global insurance and reinsurance ­dispute practice group, joined the legacy LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae in 2006.

Dewey’s London managing partner Peter Sharp said the exit of Mackie did not ­signal a change of strategy in relation to one of the firm’s core areas. Mackie’s practice focuses primarily on contentious matters involving ­arbitration, Commercial Court proceedings and mediation.
