EDWARD Lewis partner Michael Breen has successfully negotiated a 1995 racing contract for Formula One driver Damon Hill.
Hill signed a one-year deal with his current team, Williams Grand Prix Engineering, after Breen started negotiations during a flying visit to the Australian Grand Prix last month.
Breen, who has represented Hill since his days as a trainee solicitor almost 10 years ago, confirms the driver will be free to talk with other teams at the end of 1995.
"Damon is extremely happy with the package we negotiated," says Breen. "His future is very much dependant on a number of factors. The financial package will be pivotal, but I believe it will be dependant on offers from other teams and the performance of other cars."
Breen, who also handles Hill's sponsorship and book contract, has acted for management companies representing sports stars including Linford Christie, Sally Gunnell and Lennox Lewis.
