Husnara Begum
This week Ive handed over my weekly email newsletter to Alex Griffiths, who is joining Addleshaw Goddard as a trainee in September. He is currently on a building site in Romania all in the name of charity.
Alex is one of 29 future Addleshaws trainees who travelled to Cluj, in Romania, last Sunday to build houses for Habitat for Humanity alongside the families who will live in them. The trip, which is part of the national firms corporate social responsibility programme, is designed to help the trainees to get to know each other before they start their training contracts next month. Indeed, I cant think of a better group-bonding exercise than a hard days graft digging trenches and laying bricks in 30 degrees heat.
Click here for Alexs blog for all the gossip from the teams first two days on the building site.
Separately, if you got your A-Level results today I hope you passed with flying colours.
