Eda Cerrahoğlu Balssen is a principal in Cerrahoğlu’s corporate and arbitration departments. She joined the firm in 2005.
Cerrahoğlu Balssen’s practice is focused on corporate law and domestic and international arbitration.
She received her BA (Economics and International Relations, magna cum laude) from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and her JD at the University of Virginia Law School. She qualified for Istanbul Bar in 2009.
Cerrahoğlu Balssen teaches a course on international arbitration at the Yeditepe University in Istanbul. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, ASA, DIS 40, LCIA and ICC YAF.
She speaks Turkish and English and has a good conversational command of German.
