Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS) has raided Taylor Wessing, recruiting Ingrid Silver as a partner for its London-based technology, media and telecoms department. Silver joined Taylor Wessing in May 2003 following previous positions with Ashurst, Froriep Renggli (Geneva) and the European Commission. She specialises in the provision of commercial, regulatory and corporate support to the media, telecoms and IT sectors. DWS chief executive officer Howard Morris said: "Ingrid is a strategic appointment for the firm as we look to strengthen and expand our media and telecoms practice areas." Silver will join DWS in December with assistant solicitor Lucy Beard.
