Denton Wilde Sapte has appointed former Ernst & Young chairman Nick Land as its external non-executive board member.
Land, who is also on the boards of Vodafone and Royal Dutch Shell, takes over from Geoffrey Howe, who stepped down in 2007 due to his growing obligations as chairman of Nationwide Building Society. Dentons chairman James Dallas said Land was ideally placed to advise the firm on its sector focus and growth plans. “We’ve conducted a thorough selection process over the last 12 months and Nick is by far the best candidate we considered for the role.”
