Denton Wilde Sapte (DWS) has started its cricket season by advising the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on the renewal of its sponsorship arrangement with Vodafone.
Under the new four-year deal Vodafone will remain the official team sponsor of the England team, the A team, the Academy team and the Women’s team. Vodafone has sponsored the English cricket team since 1997.
DWS senior associate Andrea Thompson and the ECB’s head of legal Mark Roper-Drimie advised the cricket board while Vodafone was advised by its in-house lawyers Edward Hughes and Sarah Rosser.
DWS has enjoyed a long innings with the ECB acting on its media licensing deals for the past ten years.
