US chemical company DuPont has appointed a new general counsel as top lawyer Stacey Mobley retires after 35 years in-house.
The company has chosen assistant general counsel Thomas Sager as Mobley's replacement.
Mobley joined DuPont in 1972 and rose through the ranks to become general counsel in 1999.
DuPont ;chairman Charles Holliday said: "Stacey will leave an exceptional legacy, marked by his unwavering commitment to DuPont, the legal profession and community service."
Sager is also a veteran of the DuPont in-house team, joining in 1976, becoming chief litigation counsel in 1994 and reaching assistant general counsel in 1999.
