This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Dundas & Wilson, the former Scottish member of the Andersen Legal network, has seen its turnover rise by 12 per cent from £34m to £38m this year. Profits per partner have also risen by 12 per cent to £211,000. Top of equity stayed static at £400,000. Bottom of equity rose from £100,000 in 2000/01 to £110,000 this year. Dundas began extricating itself from the Andersen network in March this year. The firm has always kept its own accounts as it is regulated by the Scottish Law Society.
