Duane Morris makes second swoop for Luce Forward lawyers

Duane Morris has plucked two more partners from Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps, this time to boost its corporate practice.

Rated-corporate partners Robert Copeland and Stuart Sorenson are joining Duane Morris’s San Diego office which the firm opened in July last year with a haul of seven former Luce Forward lawyers.

The new laterals will expand Duane Morris capability in the region, after last year’s mass hire from Luce Forward gave the firm a specialism in insurance and reinsurance. At the same time Duane Morris also took on six Luce Forward lawyers for it’s New York office.
