Dr Geraldine Spiteri
Dr Geraldine Spiteri is a senior advocate, having practised law in Malta for the past 10 years. In addition to her general practice in civil, commercial and administrative law matters before the courts, she specialises in EU, telecommunications and maritime law and has drafted a number of statutory acts in the communications and transport sectors.
Spiteri is a senior lecturer at the Malta Maritime Institute and provides consultancy services to other institutions and corporations in respect of maritime law, piracy, business and maritime English.
As a senior lecturer with the MCAST Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Spiteri teaches the course of Certificate of Professional Competence for land transport operators, covering the subjects of law, business ancillaries, commercial practice and other related areas of relevance to land transport operators.
In addition, she is a judicial assistant at the Courts of Justice in Malta.
Her specialities are maritime, ICT and media and gaming and she acts as a key official for a number of remote gaming companies.
