On 31st August a letter was sent to Geoffrey Robertson QC of Doughty Street Chambers - whose colleague Baronness Kennedy was at one point instructed in Hyman's defence - inviting him to meet with Families Need Fathers; the letter read, in part:
"Having regard to the values you espouse, to the circumstances of the Hyman case, to the fact of the government’s current consultation on openness in the family courts (closes 01 Oct), and to your own position of influence ...... [perhaps] you would care to give of a small amount of your time in order to acquaint yourself with certain of the issues which Families Need Fathers—the charity whose name and logo were used by your colleague for the purposes of his deceit—feels to be in need of airing (in relation to the aforementioned consultation and otherwise)."
It is a matter of regret that Robertson has failed to acknowledge or to respond to that letter.
