THE co-founder of leading legal recruitment consultancy Quarry Dougall is leaving the company to become a teacher.Alistair Dougall, who trained as a barrister before forming the consultancy in 1988 with co-director Gareth Quarry, will leave later this month.He plans to return to study to qualify as an A-level history teacher but will remain as an investor in the business and as consultant to the company.Quarry Dougall, which has offices in London, Leeds and Hong Kong, employs 32 staff, including 10 consultants in its London office. Consultant Stephen Rodney was recently appointed a director.Corporation of Lloyd's solicitor Greg Abrahams has been signed, and Dougall says another consultant will also be appointed."I have really enjoyed helping to build Quarry Dougall into what it now is, which now enables me to step back and pursue other long-held ambitions. I am proud of what we have done."
