There was good news for Margaret Cole at White & Case the other week. That’s both of them.
Confused? Well, as litigation partner Margaret Cole was celebrating being named as the new head of enforcement at the Financial Services Authority, project finance partner Margaret Cole celebrated becoming the only Margaret Cole employed by White & Case.
It’s now time for other firms to find other roles for their doppelgänger partners. Norton Rose, for one, could do with sorting out its Simon Coxes. That’s Simon FT Cox and Simon J Cox, both partners, although the latter is fortunately based in Germany. Its Neil Millers are also confusing – just remember that Neil D Miller does Islamic finance, while Neil Q Miller is a litigator.
