DMH turnover rises by 5 per cent ahead of KSB merger

DMH Stallard posted turnover of £22.25m for the year 2006-07, a 5 per cent increase from last year's £21.2m.

The South East firm's average profit per equity partner (PEP) also inched up by just less than 5 per cent to £230,000 from last year's £220,000.

In May The Lawyer revealed the firm's intention to merge with London-based KSB Law in what will be its second merger in the last two years.

A spokesperson from the firm said that DMH had been investing heavily in lateral hires such as partners Jonathan Grant, former head of corporate finance at ASB Law, Barlow Lyde & Gilbert's Gwen Godfrey, who now heads the banking team, and Jonathan Ball who joined its TMT group from Freshfields.

"All have joined as partners within the past three months and are already making a big impact. Next year has more exciting prospects for the firm," said the spokesperson.
