DLA Piper has appointed former McGrigors partner Gareth Parry as the new head of its Scottish construction and engineering group.
The move comes as DLA Piper rebuilds its Scottish presence following the departure of a number of partners formerly of legacy firm Bird Semple in 2008.
These included two from the construction team and Scottish managing partner Gordon Hollerin. The construction practice now boasts six lawyers.
Simon Rae, the current managing partner for Scotland, said: “Gary has a fantastic track record in the construction and engineering sector and will add further weight to our team in Scotland.”
