DLA Piper to act pro bono for Red Cross" />DLA Piper has become the exclusive pro bono service provider to the French Red Cross. The law firm selected the Red Cross in the wake of its commitment to helping and protecting disadvantaged people in France. Initially, nine lawyers in DLA Piper's Paris office will participate in the project to provide 500-900 hours of free legal advice a year. Carol Umhoefer, corporate socialresponsibility partner at DLA Piper Paris, said: "Our priority is to participate in the development and deployment of assistance to disadvantaged members of the community by offering our legal skills and experience to France's largest charity organisation."
