Wageman has been based in China since 2001 and has built a reputation as a seasoned corporate and commercial lawyer. During his time in Asia he has represented international corporations, franchisors and advertisers with businesses and activities in China.
While in the country, Wageman has advised on the establishment of a number of foreign investment enterprises in a range of industry sectors, as well as acquisitions of Chinese domestic companies by foreign investors.
Wageman also has more than more than 25 years’ experience as a corporate, commercial and real estate development lawyer in Canada. Before moving to China he represented a large number of Canadian domestic companies and corporations.
He is an active member of the International Franchise Association and various international advertising groups and commercial business associations.
