DLA Piper represents Columbia Property Trust in $228.8m office tower purchase

DLA Piper has represented Columbia Property Trust in its purchase of an office tower in downtown San Francisco for $228.8m (£135m) from Beacon Capital Partners.

Columbia is one of the country’s largest office REITs and its acquisition of the 16-storey, 387,943ft² building allows the company to achieve its objective of expanding in a high-performing, select primary market. Columbia holds $5.1bn in assets among 59 properties.

The DLA Piper team representing Columbia was led by partner Jeffrey Keitelman in both New York and Washington DC, along with of-counsel Joseph Miller, associate Kelly Booker and Leslie Schillig in Washington DC.
