DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has made its first lateral hire in Paris since Piper Rudnick launched in the French capital in July 2004.
Paul Hastings’ French IP/IT head Patrick Boiron will be DLA Piper’s first dedicated partner in the firm’s technology, media and communications team in Paris.
Boiron’s experience includes drafting and negotiating various provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code, and is currently assisting the Republic of Croatia in the implementation of new IP law.
DLA Piper’s Paris managing partner Alan Cariddi said the hire would enable to firm to exploit the full potential of its international client base.
