DLA Piper has extended its redundancy consultation, which was due to finish on 20 March.
The firm put 30 lawyer jobs and 110 support staff on consultation in February but has extended the process in the finance and projects departments. It is understood that the consultation will now end within the next two weeks. DLA Piper caused controversy by offering a statutory minimum compensation package to those who had been made redundant. The latest consultation is the third round of cuts following the departure of 31 staff in December and five TMT lawyers in August.
