DLA Piper advises Our Cilla on psychic love venture" />Davenport Lyons and DLA Piper have picked up the lead mandates for the joint venture between Psychic Investments Limited and Liverpudlian matchmaker Cilla Black.
The new company, Destiny Calls, will provide psychic readings to callers, answering their questions on love, relationships and dating. Destiny Call's website and telephone lines launched on Valentines Day, surprise surprise.
DLA Piper picked up the mandate for Cilla, while Davenport Lyons advised Psychic Investments.
Davenport Lyons partner Jeanette Gregson, who worked on the deal, said: "I'm not psychic but I always foresaw a successful conclusion to the transaction."
One insider said there were a "lorra lorra laffs" at the closing dinner.
