DLA has recruited two partners into its commercial and projects group in Leeds
Nick Maltby is a salaried partner at Pinsent Curtis Biddle in Leeds and will join DLA as a fixed equity partner in the projects and commercial practice group. He advises on public and private work, acting mainly on health and education.
Last year, he acted for Nationwide, the European Investment Bank and Axa Investment Man-agers UK on the £60m Kirklees Group schools project. "I chose DLA because I want to do more transport related work," Maltby said. DLA's transport group is acting on the £500m Leeds tram project.
Iain Bowler joined DLA in January from Gartland Whalley and Barker. Prior to that, he was a partner at Garretts in Manchester. He specialises in public transport privatisations and rail franchising.
DLA's commercial and projects group in Leeds will now house 5 partners.
