DLA has bolstered its Italian corporate and M&A practice with the appointment of private equity specialist Davide Proverbio as a partner.
Proverbio, who was previously a junior partner at Italian corporate law firm Pedersoli & Associati, will be responsible for expanding DLA Italy's private equity service, as well as handling general corporate and M&A work.
He joins DLA's Milan office on 1 December and will work closely with Federico Sutti and the other corporate partners.
Prior to joining Pedersoli & Associati, Proverbio worked at Baker & McKenzie and Studio Legale Frangini, where he started his career.
Managing partner at DLA Italy Federico Sutti said Proverbio’s appointment followed increasing demand for the firm’s corporate and M&A services, both from Italian firms and via DLA’s international network.
