Dispute over use of flats

Alleged breaches of planning consent in relation to occupancy of two leasehold flats in Chelsea is to go to the House of Lords. Kensington and Chelsea Council claim that Lawrie Plantation Services has allowed employees to use the flats for short-stay visits to London and in doing so has breached conditions prohibiting use of the properties as temporary sleeping accommodation. The High Court and Court of Appeal both rejected those claims but now leave has been granted for an appeal to the House of Lords.
