Lady Violet Aitken, Timothy Aitken and the trustees of the Beaverbrook Foundation have launched a right of way action in the High Court against Rosebay Investment (Private), of London WC2. The foundation plans to use Cherkley Court, Leatherhead, for educational and public purposes, but claims the right of way to the premises has been blocked by fallen trees and other obstructions. In addition to claiming right of way to the premises, they are seeking an injunction to restrain Rosebay from interfering with or obstructing the exercise of the right of way.
