Leamington Spa firm Wright Hassall has benefited from the continued expansion away from its traditional strengths to post a 6 per cent rise in turnover for the second year running, bringing in £11.9m last year.
The firm now has a balanced practice, with its corporate group rivalling property and litigation as a revenue generator.
Managing partner Richard Lane says he would expect to see the firm’s 2010 figures (Wright Hassall’s year-end is 31 December) show more improvement after taking on a four-strong debt recovery team from Shoosmiths earlier this year.
A move to increase conditional fee work saw the firm’s lockup fall behind its target of 134 days, although that target is likely to be revised.
