Under the ever-watchful eye of senior partner Ian Rosenblatt, the eponymous firm made steady progress last year, increasing revenue and broadening its focus to boot.

Revenue increased to £13.8m during 2009-10, up from £13.5m last year but still down on 2007-08’s £15m. Rosenblatt himself, unsurprisingly, puts the success down to good management, but some chunky pieces of work have also helped. While its traditional corporate strong suit showed only steady progress, the firm’s litigation arm helped take up the slack. A three-partner team bagged more than its fair share of business over the year, including acting for Tullett Prebon on its High Court victory over BGC Partners.
