Scottish firm MacRoberts, which operates from offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, had a reasonably strong year in 2009-10, posting an estimated turnover of £20.4m and an average profit per equity partner figure just north of £200,000.
The 40-partner firm maintains its traditional focus on real estate and construction, handling both contentious and non-contentious issues. It also has significant pensions, tax and employment practices.
During the financial year, MacRoberts signed up for new office space in Glasgow, moving from its city centre location to Atlantic Quay in June 2010.
