Revenue was all but flat at Aberdeen-based Ledingham Chalmers during 2009-10, rising marginally from £9.1m the previous year to £9.2m.
The firm, which posted strong growth between 2006-07 and 2007-08, continues to suffer from the slowdown in transactional markets.
Aberdeen remains the firm’s key market, with the office generating around 85 per cent of turnover. The firm also has a litigation team in Edinburgh and an Inverness team focusing on public sector work.
Private client accounts for around 18 per cent of turnover, down from a high of 25 per cent in the 1990s.
The firm made two significant lateral hires during the year, taking on residential property partner Mike Cunningham from Aberdeen firm Hutcheon Rattray & Co and consultant Ron Wadsworth, who had been a partner at Stronachs.
