Harvey Ingram acts for individuals, both private clients and the owners of owner-managed businesses or medium-sized enterprises.
The firm originated in Leicester, but over the past decade has expanded to Milton Keynes and Birmingham. It has two offices in the latter.
Although the 2007-08 financial year was tough on the 30-partner firm, it has more recently cut costs and kept its eye open for opportunities, even hiring a property partner in the middle of the slump.
And although at £14m turnover is still lower than it has been previously (it was £14.6m in 2008-09 and £15.2m the year before), managing partner Simon Astill maintains that profitability has recovered at £3.4m, as has the average profit per equity partner at £141,000.
