Everatt & Co is primarily a defendant personal injury firm, which with its sideline in employment accounts for around 15 per cent of turnover.
Unlike many of its similarly sized competitors, Everatt is thriving. The firm’s financial year ends on 31 August, but it projected a turnover of £7.8m for the 2009-10 financial year,
a 24 per cent rise on last year’s £6.3m.
The 12-partner firm (four equity) has its headquarters in Evesham and, in August 2009, launched a London office in Threadneedle Street.
Everatt counts among its clients Fortis, QBE and Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.
