Newcastle practice Dickinson Dees has poached a senior PFI lawyer from Eversheds in a bid to widen the scope of its projects work.
Iain Greenshields joins the firm from Eversheds in Newcastle.
Greenshields specialises in local authority and education sector work. Dickinson Dees has previously concentrated on health projects but plans to broaden the types of PFI work done by the firm.
Dickinson Dees partner John Flynn says: "We have been focusing on health so Iain's education experience is pretty useful to us."
Although Flynn refuses to say if he is bringing his clients with him, sources say it is likely. He will be working with former Eversheds partner Ian Ward, who joined the 48-partner firm two years ago and now heads the property department.
