Dibb Lupton Alsop has changed its name to DLA, dropping the names of its founding partners.
The decision is part of a move by Dibbs to grow closer to the European network which operates under the banner of DLA & Partners.
Nigel Knowles, managing partner, says: "The name change to DLA is entirely consistent with the need to present ourselves to clients both present and future in a way that portrays our corporate and unified approach to both our UK and international business operations.
"It also offers the platform for our continued development in line with our stated vision."
Dibbs was formed in September 1996 by the merger of Dibb Lupton Broomhead and Alsop Wilkinson.
