Proskauer Rose has added four litigation partners from Dewey & LeBoeuf including vice chair Ralph Ferrara in the firm’s latest raid on its US rival.
Ferrara joins Proskauer in Washington DC alongside fellow litigation partner Ann Ashton, while Jonathan Richman and Tanya Dmitronow have jumped to the firm’s New York office.
Proskauer has already hired senior Dewey bankruptcy partner Martin Bienenstock, one of the members of the embattled US firm’s so-called office of the chairman (14 May 2012).
Last week it emerged that City restructuring duo Mark Fennessy and Hazel Miller were also joining Proskauer, with the two partners forming part of Dewey’s London steering group preparing the UK LLP’s wind-down (18 May 2012).
Earlier this month the US firm hired Dewey corporate partner Lorenzo Borgogni for its Manhattan base.
Ferrara said in a statement that the move would “take our practice to the next level”, with the litigator adding that it would contribute “new capabilities that enhance Proskauer’s reputation as the go-to firm in this space”.
