Julia Berris

Dewey & LeBoeuf has made up three new partners in London as part of a round that has seen a total of 20 made up across the firm.

As well as the three London promotions, Milan has received two new partners and Moscow has received one while in the US seven were made up in New York, three apiece in Los Angeles and Washington DC and one in Boston.

Dewey chairman, Steve Davis, said: "This year's class of new partners reflects the increasingly diverse scope of Dewey & LeBoeuf's practice capabilities and our rapidly expanding international presence."

In London the new partnership places have gone to corporate lawyers Fabio Pizzoccheri and Emma Pond and tax lawyer Julio Castro.

Last year (13 December 2007) The Lawyer reported on the firm promoting a total of 18, with four associates being made up in the London office in the first round of promotions since the merger of Dewey Ballentine and LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae merged in October 2007.
