Conservationists are waiting for judgment in a case with major implications for development rights relating to listed buildings. A protest group from Bridport, Dorset, has challenged the decision by West Dorset District Council to allow the development of Downe Hall, a Grade II-listed building in Bridport which is rated as one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the country.
