Denton Wilde Sapte has rehired former partner Stephen Webb, while at the same time losing restructuring partner Michael Rutstein to Jones Day's London office.
Planning lawyer Webb has returned to the firm following a two-year stint at Eversheds, where he was a fixed-share partner. He decided to move back to Dentons after being offered equity with the firm.
Webb moved to Eversheds in July 2006 after nine years at Dentons, including one year as a partner. He told The Lawyer: "I had every reason to think I'd get into the equity [at Eversheds], but that could have taken a couple of years. Given the current state of the market it would be a no-brainer to refuse [Dentons' offer]."
